Hackabull is Tampa’s biggest hackathon and it’s back!

Every legend has an origin story. Yours starts April 25th. For 36 hours, this generation's boldest builders will gather, create, and push the limits of what's possible. No shortcuts. No sleep. Just you, your team, and an idea worth fighting for.

You won't conquer alone. We bring the mentors, the workshops, the swag, and the energy — you bring the idea. The rest? That's history.

It's time to show the world what you're capable of. Are you ready?

Requirements

What can I build?

Anything your imagination can dream up! Whether it's a web app, mobile app, AI tool, hardware hack, or data visualization — if you can build it in 36 hours, it's fair game. The only limit is your creativity.

Can I use code I built before the hackathon?

All projects must be started from scratch at the beginning of the hackathon. However, you're welcome to use open-source libraries, frameworks, and publicly available APIs to bring your idea to life.

What if I don't have a team?

No worries! You can find teammates right on our platform using the "Find Teammates" feature, or connect with other participants on our Discord before the event. We'll also have a team formation session at the start so no one gets left behind.

How are projects judged?

Projects will be judged in person at the event. Make sure your team is present and ready to demo your project to the judges!
